The Vision – The Tabloid Version.
You won’t recognise Lostwithiel it will be so different. All around in the streets and shops people will be talking about Jesus, praying for each other, and stuff. Others will hear about it outside Lostwithiel, and what God is doing will spread like fire.
The River Church will be something people want to be in on - people all out for Jesus, known for loving each other tons, and helping the people of the town.
This strong God love will mean the River Church grows to hundreds of people of all ages who want to live their lives for Jesus. They’ll meet in small groups where they can chill together and help each other get closer to God, and also they’ll meet together in celebration – worshipping and learning more cool things about God.
Some of these small groups will become churches themselves in different areas.
As they have contact with the River Church, God will heal many people, both their bodies and inside in the heart. It’ll be a place where people are accepted, and can know God’s love, peace and joy. The Bible will be believed and taught as God’s word, the good news of Jesus spoken out with courage and without watering it down.
All this great stuff God will do, through Christians in the community, may need buildings to help it happen. God will provide all that, as we focus on Jesus and what He wants. So let’s go for it.
